Nujalia Pootoogook
NUJALIAQ POOTOOGOOK (NUJALIAQ)

Nujalia Pootoogook was born on October 24th 1971, in the community of Cape Dorset, Baffin Island, Northwest Territories. Nujalia is the son of Cape Dorset artists Eegyvudluk and Napatchie Pootoogook. He is also know as Nujaliaq!

He presently lives and carves in the community of Cape Dorset. Nujalia is one of our up and coming inuit artists. His favorite subjects are bears, which he carves in creative poses.
